census-designated places. Everett is the largest
city in the county with Edmonds, Lynnwood, Marysville,
Snohomish and Lake Stevens all growing rapidly and falling close behind
Everett. The county is
characterized by high density, high-income and high
value homes in the western part of the county. The
northern and central sections of the county are
characterized by sprawl.
Everett is a satellite city of
Seattle and is therefore part of the regional hub of commerce in the Pacific Northwest.
